  KV No. 2 Bikaner
This Vidyalaya was established in 1983. It was running in a temporary building provided by the defence authorities. It was situated at Jaisalmer Road opposite telephone exchange. The defence authorities have provided 11.7 Acres land in the cantonment to KVS for permanent building of the vidyalaya. At Present this Vidyalaya is running in new building situated near shopping complex in cantonment area. The vidyalaya has two sections from class I to X and one section with science and commerce stream in class XI & XII.(https://no2bikaner.kvs.ac.in/)
Kendriya Vidyalaya No-02 Bikaner Library has been functioning
 smoothly as per the library policy framed by KVS. Library is fully computerized using e-granthalaya software & bar code system for issuing- returning and other services (software provided by NIC).

  • E- granthalaya software installed in the library.


  • Complete automation of books.
  • Bar code labels generated and pasted on books.
  • Library Cards having bar codes are generated for students and staff and in use.
